About West Lane Tech

West Lane Technical Learning Center (WLTLC) is a public online charter high school located in Veneta, OR. WLTLC combines independent, self-directed online education with individualized support for students. Our program maintains an open, accessible computer lab with Highly Qualified teachers available throughout the school day. Teachers monitor student progress on a daily basis. In addition, WLTLC supports a culinary/hospitality and health services for students wanting hands-on learning activities.

The goal of the West Lane Technical Learning Center (WLTLC) is to meet the educational needs of a diverse group of students who experience difficulty with traditional public school services. To meet these students’ needs, WLTLC integrates academic, vocational and technical skills into a program of study. This hybrid school emphasizes collaborative learning with blending computer based and face-to-face instruction to create a supportive, flexible learning environment. Through the achievement of an individualized personal education plan (PEP), students will develop life skills, attain a high school diploma, acquire career skills and become productive citizens.
